Leesburg, Va. — Tuscarora High School senior Michaela Workman (19:32) finished finished fifth at the VHSL Class 4 State Championship, leading the Huskies girls to a third place finish on November 12 in Leesburg. Lightridge High School senior Taylor Gibson (19:45) and Loudoun Valley High School junior Ella Peterson (19:49) finished seventh and eighth, rounding out the all-state finishes from LCPS runners. Leesburg, Va. — Tuscarora High School senior Michaela Workman (17:59.00) finished runner up at the VHSL Region 4C Championship, leading the Huskies girls to a team championship on November 2 in Leesburg. Loudoun Valley High School senior Scarlett Fetterolf (18:13.10) and junior Ella Peterson (18:16.10) finished fourth and fifth, leading the Vikings girls to a runner up finish. Broad Run High School junior Tarek Benlamkaddem (15:30.30) turned in the top boys time from a Loudoun runner, placing third. Leesburg, Va. — Tuscarora High School seniors Michaela Workman (18:09.20), Jacqueline Janicki (18:47.60), and Sadie Dillard (19:05.10) helped lead the Huskies girls to a Dulles District title, while junior Luke Getz (16:14.50) and sophomore Grant White (16:15.20) helped the Huskies complete the boys-girls sweep of the Dulles District Championships on October 25 in Leesburg.
