Leesburg (October 28, 2015) — Loudoun Valley High School senior Drew Hunter (16:03) and Heritage High School sophomore Weini Kelati (17:19) won the Conference 21B Championships on October 27 in Leesburg. Hunter’s effort helped the Viking boys to a first place team finish, while Kelati’s effort helped the Pride girls to a first place team finish. On the boys side, Loudoun Valley — along with Dominion and Loudoun County High Schools — will represent Conference 21B at the VHSL 4A West region meet on November 5 at the Smith River Sports Complex in Axton. Rock Ridge sophomore Clark Edwards (17:11), Heritage freshman Brendan Thompson (17:17) and Rock Ridge juniors Sean Megens (17:26) and Harrison Autry (17:26) also earned individual region berths.…

All of that and more was showcased on October 23 in South Riding when the Rock Ridge High School Phoenix (2-7) traveled to take on the Freedom High School Eagles (3-5) in a VHSL 4A West clash.
