By Michael Pittinger LoCoSports Staff Writer [twitter-follow screen_name=’MikePitting’] Sterling (November 5, 2016) – Since the fall of 2012 the football game between the teams from Dominion High School and Park View High School has been known as the Battle of Route 7. Since this rivalry game got a name, the Titans have been the dominant team winning the first four meetings. Dominion would dominate this meeting as well keeping the trophy in Titan territory for another year at least by beating the Patriots, 57-20. “It was definitely great, it was a hard fought game,” Dominion senior lineman and UVA-commit Tommy…

By Michael Pittinger LoCoSports Staff Writer [twitter-follow screen_name=’MikePitting’] Sterling (September 17, 2016) – In football, teams usually run the ball to control the tempo and set up the passing game: well, the passing game took a back seat in this game.  Park View High School and Rock Ridge High School both ran wild on the defenses combining for a total 501 yards on the ground.  It was only fitting that the team to win this game would need to be a little better on the ground than their opponent. The Patriots did just that by running for five scores to…
