Matthew Chesnutt is a senior at Park View High School. At Park View, Chesnutt was a varsity baseball starter for two years and also competes on the varsity swim team. Outside of sports, Chesnutt is the PVHS SCA President and is also a part of the Patriot Marching Band and Theatre Department. Chesnutt has a passion for sports and journalism, and hopes to continue that passion of his in the future.

Sterling, Va. — Park View High School senior forward Elton Quintanilla has committed to Virginia Commonwealth University to continue his academic and athletic pursuits, beginning in the 2020-2021 school year. Leesburg, Va. — Heritage High School senior setter Julia Gleason has committed to Christopher Newport University to continue her academic and athletic pursuits starting in the 2019-2020 school year. Gleason will head to a Division III Captains volleyball team that just won its third straight Capital Athletic Conference tournament.
