Girls Soccer: Woodgrove Outlasts Loudoun County, Claims VHSL 4A State Title


Roanoke, Va. — Jeff Vennitti photographed Woodgrove High School’s girls soccer state championship game against Loudoun County High School in Roanoke on Saturday, June 8 and posted this photo gallery with 100+ photos! In their fifth overtime meeting of the season, Woodgrove junior midfielder Rachel Castro scored on an assist from senior forward Katie Oliver as the Wolverines defeated the Raiders, 1-0, claiming the VHSL 4A State championship.
