Volleyball: Loudoun County Remains Perfect, Trumps Rival Heritage


Leesburg, Va. — Tim Gregory photographed Loudoun County High School’s volleyball game against Heritage High School in Leesburg on Tuesday, September 25 and posted this photo gallery with 100+ photos! In a battle of the Dulles District’s top contenders, the Lady Raiders swept the Pride, 3-0, to remain perfect, while handing Heritage it’s first district loss.

Prior to the game, both teams recognized members of the military for their service. Loudoun County head coach John Senchak is a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant, having served with Intelligence and Special Operations Commands. After earning his dental degree from Georgetown University, Heritage head coach Walter Collazo joined the U.S. Army Dental Corps where he completed military assignments in Kansas, Texas and Germany.
