Portland, Or. – As if a “Perfect 15” at the VHSL 4A State championship meet wasn’t enough, the Loudoun Valley High School boys cross country team made history once again, scoring the lowest team total ever en route to the national championship at the Nike Cross Nationals on December 2 in Portland, Oregon.

Led by All-LoCo standouts Peter Morris, Sam Affolder, Colton Bogucki and Jacob Hunter, the Vikings scored 89 points, besting runner-up Fayetteville-Manlius High School from New York by 70 points.
