Tennis: 2016 Cheers and LoCoSports All-LoCo Team Selected

(June 13, 2016) – Cheers and LoCoSports have named their 2016 All-LoCo tennis teams. Riverside High School junior Sydney Sawyer has been named the 2016 girls tennis Player of the Year. The girls Coach of the Year is Laura Schamus of Riverside High School.

Broad Run High School sophomore Michael Pollatos has been named the 2016 boys tennis Player of the Year. The boys Coach of the Year is Mark Blackington of Broad Run High School.

The All-LoCo tennis first team photo shoot will be held on July 10 at 10:50 a.m. at Cheers Sports’ new location! Please RSVP to The Owl at or by direct message on Twitter at @LoCoSports by June 22 with your t-shirt size.
