Purcellville (September 28, 2015) – Loudoun Valley High School sophomore Ryan Hammer won the Conference 21B golf championship at Loudoun Golf & Country Club on Monday, September 28 shooting a 2-under, 70 on the day. Hammer and senior teammate Brandon Weaver — who placed fourth shooting a 73 — led the Vikings to the first ever Conference 21B team championship with a score of 295.
Loudoun Valley and the second place Heritage Pride will advance as teams to the VHSL 4A West region championship on October 5 at Heritage Oaks Golf Club in Harrisonburg.
Loudoun County seniors Paul Odenwaldt (74) and Jack Von Kleeck (79), junior Devon Teasdale (81) and sophomore Ryan Monastero (80) as well as Rock Ridge freshman James Shin (76) and Dominion sophomore Kelvin Shen (80) all earned individual berths to the VHSL 4A West region tournament.
